Alexis H

(Acord II x Galvano)

Alexis H (Acord II x Galvano) is an imported Hanoverian mare standing at 16.2 hh.  She was owned by Thomas Fuchs in Germany before being imported from Europe in 2005.

Alexis is an absolutely incredible mare to be around. She has magnificent presence, is extremely kind and has loads of personality while maintaining perfect manners at all times. Prior to coming to Canada as a broodmare, Alexis competed up to 1.45 m (4'8") in Germany before being sold to Guatemala for competition and then finally coming to Canada.

Alexis is of phenomenal breeding, by Acord II, a very well known top producing sire, out of Galvano, a son of Grande, mare.

As a broodmare, Alexis has produced numerous foals of top quality.

With Conquest (Corrado I x Calando I), Alexis produced a filly that has won 4 year old FEI dressage tests with scores of 71%, this filly also tested Premium in the Oldenburg registry.

With Coolman (Quidam de Revel x Pluspunkt) and Quissini (Quidam de Revel x Cassini I), Alexis has produced very successful hunters.

We currently have one of her colts by Quissini (Quidam de Revel x Cassini I) on the ground at Winsome Meadows and cannot wait to see what he will do with these kinds of bloodlines! His behaviour is unlike most other colts his age, he is very gentle and respectful, but also affectionate and playful.

Alexis is currently bred to Conquest and is expected to foal July 2019.

Cool Centolina

(Coolman x Dobel's Cento)

Cool Centolina  (Coolman x Dobel's Cento) is a lovely chestnut 16.2 hh Selle Luxembourgeois broodmare.

Lina is a fantastic broodmare with a wonderful temperament and great talent for the hunter ring. Unfortunately Lina suffered an injury as a young horse that left her light riding and broodmare sound only, which limited any opportunity to prove herself in the show ring.

Lina is much like Alexis in the barn, entertaining, but polite and well mannered, a pleasure all around.  She is an exceptional mover and it is no surprise she has produced beautiful hunters.

Lina has produced several beautiful foals, which are currently competing successfully in the show ring. Lina's foals are amateur friendly with beautiful movement and form over fences with plenty of scope, currently selling for high five figures/low six figures (USD).

Lina's own bloodlines are incredible and versatile.  Her sire, Beaulieu's Coolman, is a Quidam de Revel son, out of a Pluspunkt mare, with Pilot on both her sire and dam side.   Lina's dam is equally as well bred as her sire, with Dobel's Cento as the dam sire, Alexis Z and Pilot also present.

A Little Bit 5

(Lloyds x Pik Koenig)

A Little Bit 5 (Lloyds x Pik Koenig) is an imported Oldenburg mare from the Netherlands.  She was imported to North America in 2006 and quickly began a successful show career up to 1.40 m (4'6") under an amateur rider, competing predominantly at Spruce Meadows, earning many cash prizes and placing well in most of her classes.

Little Bit is a phenomenal mover and honest jumper, which she passes onto her offspring who have proven to be easy to start and extremely competitive in their age divisions in young horse development classes. Litte Bit's latest filly by Emerald van het Ruytershof performed as top jumper foal, premium and foal of distinction at her Oldenburg inspection.

Little Bit's bloodlines are fantastic, older European types are prominent and a great addition to our breeding program.  Little Bit, herself, though, is slightly more modern in build than would be expected, at first glance, from her bloodlines.  Lloyds is a stallion who was successful in Europe, Lloyds was by Larome, a son of Landgraf I.  Little Bit's dam was by Pik Koenig, and out of a Gotthard mare.  Little Bit shows incredible resemblance to Gotthard.
